Terms and Conditions

By furnishing payment, you agree to the following terms & conditions:-

Deposit, Payment and Cancellation Policy:

$50 non-refundable deposit to be paid at time of booking.

Any cancellation will be subject to accommodation and relevant charges of the venue operator. As a general rule, all monies paid will not be refundable due to the terms and conditions set by the venue operator. We will do everything that we can to assist anyone who needs to cancel with a legitimate reason, however this will be done on a case by case basis.

Minimum monthly payments are to be paid with the final payment of the balance to be made two weeks prior to the event. Failure to do so will be an automatic forfeit of your booking and loss of all monies paid.

Failure of payment – all outstanding accounts must be paid within 7 working days of receiving an invoice from Queensland Scrapbooking Retreats. Failure of payment within this time may result in Queensland Scrapbooking Retreats taking legal action. All legal charges resulting in this action will be included in the claim.

Queensland Scrapbooking Retreats has the right to cancel an event should minimum numbers not be attained. A full refund will be provided to all participants of the cancelled event.

The Craft room will be closed at Midnight and re-opened again at 8:00am, however this is subject to change depending on the terms and conditions set by the venue operator. A member of Queensland Scrapbooking Retreats will ensure that the room is secure at closing time.

While all care is taken to ensure the safekeeping of your property, all of your belongings left in the Craft room are done so at your own risk. Queensland Scrapbooking Retreats takes no responsibility for any items left in the Craft room or accommodation rooms if theft or damages occur.

If any lost items are found, we will contact every customer in an attempt to return it to the rightful owner. If the item is unclaimed it will become the property of Queensland Scrapbooking Retreats.

The promotion and selling of goods by other papercrafting businesses and crafters is not permitted.

Share accommodation is provided. Where possible we will accommodate all persons to sleep in a lower bunk, but depending on numbers attending and the venue, this may not always be possible. We will do what we can to ensure that those participants who are with a group will stay together; however, there may be a need to split the group depending on numbers.

All accommodation needs to be vacated by 10am on the day of departure and is expected to be left by occupants in the same condition as provided prior to checking in. Any additional cleaning costs will be invoiced to room occupants and this invoice is to be paid within 7 working days of the date of invoice.

All rules and regulations set by the venue are to be strictly adhered to.  No alcohol is permitted anywhere on the venue site however this is subject to change depending on the terms and conditions set by the venue operator.  Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.

Keys to the accommodation areas are to be returned to Queensland Scrapbooking Retreats prior to morning tea on the day of departure.
